The Excel machine Tools Simple Index is a heavy duty base on which is mounted a hardened and ground precision turntable.
It can be used in either vertical or horizontal position. Using one of the masking plates provided the index can carry out many dividing functions.
Indexing of 2,3,4,6,8,12,24 divisions can be rapidly and simply carried out. The specially-made 3-jaw scroll chuck also simplifies indexing of long workpieces
